They will have the responsibility for maintaining their assigned floors to the highest standards of cleanliness including corridors, stairwells, and elevator landings; assisting room attendants on their floors; stocking and organizing the supplies and amenities pantry closet and removing garbage from the floor.
Previous experience as a house person in a luxury hotel environment is necessary; and the ability to bend and stand and lift heavy items as necessary is essential in this role.
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience as a floor houseman Experience from a luxury hotel housekeeping environment is preferred Previous attendant, house person, janitor, or related field of work is beneficial Knowledge of bonneting/extraction process, carpet shampoo, floor buffering is valuable Must have the ability to interact with guests in a courteous and efficient manner Possess an eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed Verbal, reading and writing skills are required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
