Job Description:
WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL LOOK LIKE As a Tech Project Manager, you will work collaboratively to develop digital solutions and execute production efforts to help brands achieve their goals and will work to ensure projects are delivered on time, according to specifications, and on budget.
While reporting to an Executive Producer and Managing Director of Technology, the Tech Project Manager will serve as a conduit and partner to Creative, Strategy and Development.
Past experience with AEM a must.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Oversee and optimize the operations and workstreams necessary to execute on our planned launch date.
Manage the project plan and keep teams on track against deliverables and milestones Build and execute project plans and coordinate efforts of the overall team, including client-side technology teams, producers and creatives, as well as all key internal parties Communicate across teams and projects, clearly setting expectations, and realigning expectations internally as priorities change Maintain a multi-release requirements and deliverables roadmap beyond initial launch.
Facilitate the translation of business goals into functional requirements and deliverables hand in hand with the appropriate team members.
Manage development tasks in project tracking software with the ability to break down larger features into actionable tasks Act as conductor in a fast-paced environment-relied on to prioritize project deliverables, facilitate decisions among stakeholders, and maintain process and best practices.
Manage hourly time of team members, including oneself to targeted hour range per week and month.
Be available over Slack and email four-five business days, even if total weekly hours are not a full week.
Manage parallel Trello and Asana boards to move a project forward by tracking multiple development workstreams along with adjacent workstreams including design, content, accessibility, QA, etc.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM 8
years of Tech PM or Producer experience in an agency, digital consultancy, or other environment working on complex full-scale site builds across multiple clients.
Team player mentality and the ability to faciliate collaboration.
Understanding of component-based web development methodologies and management of web projects on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.
Experience working with and ability to speak the language of medium sized teams of developers (5+) Familiarity managing web experiences that integrate with API endpoints to deliver content as well as user authentication and account creation.
Excellent problem-solving, technical, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to think strategically and efficiently across projects and platforms.
Innate sense for involving the right people at the right time.
