Senior Accountant for Real Estate Development Firm
My Client, a NYC based privately owned Investment company that develops, owns, and manages a portfolio of real estate assets is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team.
The role is open as they recently promoted someone from within the team to another division internally so they are now re-filling that role.
You will work on an intimate team alongside an Assistant Controller, a Senior Accountant and the Director of Accounting.
In this role you will maintain detailed workpapers on a monthly, quarterly, and annual accrual basis, assist with annual budgets and reforecasts, and calculate monthly management fees and overhead allocations.
You will work with the outside audit and tax firms and interface with the property managers as well.
A strong understanding of tax basis financial reporting is required and a minimum of 3
years' experience in Accounting in the Real Estate industry.

They are on a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office (M, W,T) and benefits are fully paid for by employer for both single and family coverage as well.
Targeting up to $140k in base salary as well as a discretionary bonus potential.
