The Weather Company is looking for a Product Marketing Lead for our new enterprise offering, The Weather Engine - built primarily for the CTO, CIO offices to optimize enterprise level operations with weather data, insights and intelligence. At The Weather Company, we believe Product Marketing is the glue that binds our product strategy to the tactics that we need to drive success in sales and marketing and accelerate product revenue growth.The ideal candidate should be a strong individual contributor experienced with full 360 marketing skills from driving brand awareness to executing performance marketing. Additionally, they should have extensive experience in Saas/enterprise marketing & sales; a proven track record of successfully developing and executing product marketing strategies; a deep understanding of the enterprise players and buying process; and can translate our offering into customer-first value propositions that differentiate our offering in market.The impact you'll make:
Lead macro-level positioning in terms of how The Weather Engine is revolutionizing business process optimization, as well as more focused positioning of The Weather Engine product differentiation. Build product GTM plan, messaging and value propositions for existing/future enterprise data and insights features, leveraging a deep understanding of capabilities, customer needs, competitive environment, the longer sales cycle and more complex decision making process Own the strategy and development of messaging and core marketing assets including thought leadership, videos, blogs and sales collateral. All focused on growth and expansion of current clients and reaching new potential clients Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and market launches of select verticals and offerings Collaborate with the larger marketing team which includes product managers, campaign manager, content specialist, digital strategist, external comms/pr and event marketers to achieve business goals Enable multiple internal sales teams and external channel partners with product training, GTM playbooks, battle cards, and sales collateral that help generate demand Be and represent the voice of the customer and their challenges/needs to determine features and future iterations of the product. Serve as the Marketing lead for Product focused Steering Committee responsible for setting future agenda and roadmap for The Weather Engine Analyze marketing results and ROI to learn, iterate and optimize marketing strategy and execution What you've accomplished:
10 years of experience with Product Marketing, Enterprise Marketing and/or Product Development Proven experience with determining product-market fit, assessing competitive landscape and mastering the GTM strategy, including an affinity for sales enablement Familiarity working with Independent Software Vendors (ISV)/Enablers, System Integrators (SI) and other channel partners is required. Experience with SaaS/Cloud based products and related business models Expert and skilled story-teller; crafts product/feature positioning statements and messaging systems based on target audiences and insights. Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with sales, product management, leadership, data-science, PR, marketing and other departments Ability to execute effectively against multiple projects and deadlines and an ability to take initiative, influence w/out authority, anticipate needs and exercise independent and sound judgment Technical acumen, detailed industry knowledge and understanding of Events/Conferences focused on the CIO and CTO buyer Excellent writing and creative presentation skill, project management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Recommended Skills Business Processes Creativity Customer Demand Planning Customer Value Proposition Decision Making Event Management Apply to this job.
