Quality Engineer

This position designs, develops, and executes the quality non-conformance processes across the operation. As the Quality Engineer, you will utilize gages and analyze capability of our measurement systems as well as utilize your knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T). This position requires the use of data analysis tools to determine repetitive issues. This position will utilize readily available quality tools to determine root cause and appropriate corrective actions within the organization.Skills needed to be successful in this position:
Triage of non-conformant material Determination of scrap/rework dispositions Creation and execution of recovery options Containment of suspect material throughout the operation Utilization of quality management system and tools to determine root cause and corrective action when required Creation, coordination, and support of internal and supplier non-conformance report Use judgement, discretion, and sense of urgency when making quality dispositions Identify and lead process improvement projects Basic understanding of GD&T and machining methods Have good problem solving and troubleshooting Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Preferred Education/Training/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
