Senior Angular (UI) Developer
Senior UI (Angular) Developer Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Senior UI Developer.
Cognizant Digital Practice helps clients reinvent products, experiences, and business models to create new value, differentiation, and drive revenue in the digital economy.
We take an Experience centered approach which uses human insights to take ideas from vision to outcome and building end to end experience led solutions that enables brands to transform their customer and employee experiences using design, marketing, and commerce capabilities.
Location:
New York City, NY (candidates must currently reside within a commutable distance to lower Manhattan- NYC area)Day-To-Day
Responsibilities:
o Develop and maintain user interfaces using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
, Java o Collaborate with cross-functional teams in NYC to understand project requirements.
o Ensure code quality through thorough testing and adherence to coding standards.
o Optimize UI performance for fast and responsive web applications.
o Provide technical leadership in UI architecture and design decisions.
o Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues efficiently.
o Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning.
o Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Key
Qualifications:
o Must have at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in UI development, with a significant focus on Angular framework.
Deep understanding of Angular framework concepts, including components, services, routing, and state management is required o Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and relevant front-end libraries and frameworks.
o UI/UX Design Skills:
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and the ability to translate design mockups into interactive web applications.
o Performance Optimization:
Experience in optimizing UI performance through code optimizations, lazy loading, and caching strategies.
o Version Control Systems:
Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for collaborative development.
o Agile Methodologies:
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
