- Work closely with the CEO and Leadership Team to align engineering strategy with company objectives.
- Develop and lead engineering strategy for our platform, ensuring that our service is secure, stable, and reliable.
- Hire, mentor, and manage top-performing engineering teams.
- Get your hands dirty - actively contribute to coding efforts and ship code as needed.
- Cultivate an innovation-focused culture across the organization.
- Foster growth and development of engineering team members through mentorship and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Extensive engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on hands-on coding and shipping code.
- Expert knowledge of Django/Python, Vue.
js, and PostgreSQL.
- 5
years of experience as an Engineering Leader, with a Start-Up background.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Experience in a remote, dynamic, and collaborative work environment.
- High levels of EQ/IQ and low ego/high humility.
- High Sense of Urgency and a Get it Done mentality- 2 sided marketplace experience is a strong plus.
- Strong speaking/thought leadership ability and background is a plus.
