SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, prestigious Manhattan private school who is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Start date July through September, flexible.
This is a 12-month program.
Salary:
$70,000-$85,000 DOE Excellent benefits package :
Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Hours :
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
Responsibilities for the Special Education Teacher :
Create academic plans and goals based on assessment data Supervise a 1:
1 classroom and 2:
1 instructors in the classroom Monitor and analyze each student's progress related to communication, academics, behavior and social skills Responsible for academic and behavior analytic assessments Work with service providers, home base providers, parents and the multidisciplinary team Requirements for the Special Education Teacher:
Minimum of a MA in Special Education or a related field 2 years of ABA experience strongly preferred Minimum of 3 years previous teaching experience in a special education setting Ability to work with parents, teachers and faculty NYS Certification in Special Education NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBA) are strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be Covid vaccinated Recommended Skills Analytical Assessments Early Childhood Education Interpersonal Skills Multidisciplinary Approach Teaching Apply to this job.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
