Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing skilled professional nursing care to assigned terminally ill patients at the Hospcie House, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with the standards of the Missouri Nurse Practice ActPerforms duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Licensure:
Current RN license in Missouri requiredMust be a licensed driver.
Certifications:
Possesses and maintains current BLS CPR certification.
Other:
Complies with accepted professional standards and practiceUnderstands Hospice philosophy; principles related to death and dying and pain managementHas excellent observation, good nursing assessment and communication skillsHas excellent computer skills with the ability to provide good documentation within an electronic medical record and submits in a timely mannerIs self-directed with the ability to work with little supervisionIs flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation and has ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred
Experience:
Recent hospice or long term care experience preferredExperience with issues related to death/dying and bereavement preferredOne year general nursing experience preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
