Summary:
The role will build and lead a Global Project Management Center of Excellence, focused on establishing and sharing best practices to ensure the prioritization, coordination and successful delivery of the strategic projects that contribute to CooperVision achieving its commercial objectives.
The role involves senior stakeholder engagement at VP level and above, provides governance and structure for key global and strategic projects, while also providing advice and project support to local project management leaders.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
Project Management leadership:
Provide PM leadership to key global strategic projects that are needed to deliver sustained commercial success, ensuring there is clear prioritization and resource allocation (people and budgets) to deliver the project on-time and on budget.
To lead strategic reviews of key global strategic initiatives and provide clear analysis on the benefits realization of key projects.
To make commercial recommendations using data and analytics that ensure the CVI division continuously improves project execution and learns quickly which projects are successful and which are not.
Establish measurable KPIs to enable executive reporting of key global strategic project status at Global level.
To support the Global Strategy function in the delivery of key global priorities.
Oversee all aspects of project delivery:
meeting facilitation, define the scope and terms of the project, project planning and administration, agreeing and setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring executionProject Management Center of Excellence:
Establish and promote industry-recognized, best-in-class PMO and project management standards for CVI Globally Lead the evaluation, execution and embedding of program and project management tools, systems, processes and resources, driving continued use, improvement and maturation of best practice.
Lead the Global Strategy Project Management Office providing governance frameworks and support to PM teams across the division, ensuring high standards and discipline in PM execution.
Ensure that PMO resources across the division adhere to the principles of scalability, simplicity and reducing complexity when scoping new project initiatives.
To act as mentor and coach to PM resources across the division and manage the Global Strategy PMO team as part of CooperVision s Personal Enablement Development process.
Minimum of 30% Travel required (domestic and globally) depending on the needs of the organization.

Experience:
Has led or has worked in a PMO function or a project rich environment.
Has successfully led transformational projects that have led to sustained business improvement or change.
A proven track record of success in helping coordinate matrix resources in the delivery of a project or resolution of an organizational problem.
Experience of setting and supporting strategy development and executionExperience in leading projects where high levels of change management is required.

locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $133,874 and $205,960 per year and may include cost of living adjustments.
The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future.
This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
