Senior Director, Digital Experience & Marketing

As the Senior Director of Digital Experience & Marketing, you will lead and oversee a dynamic team of agile professionals responsible for delivering our digital client experience.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital strategy and ensure the successful execution of projects to enhance our digital capabilities and deliver on the Ameriprise client experience.
Accountable for driving alignment with partners across marketing and the business and translating strategies into deliverables that deliver for our short and long-term goals.
Working in partnership with our technology teams you will champion our agile approach to drive efficiency, velocity and quality while continuously improving our ways of working.
This role will be responsible for establishing and executing a connected digital experience across the client, advisor and firm, enhancing Ameriprise s reputation as a leading comprehensive financial planning firm.
Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & Execution:
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the digital strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives and goals, and adjust as needed.
Drive the prioritization, planning, and execution of digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and resource allocation.
Establish and monitor OKRs and key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness and impact of digital projects, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
Agile Practices and Process Improvement:
Champion agile methodologies and best practices across the digital team and broader organization, driving efficiency, speed, and quality in project delivery.
Continuously evaluate and improve agile processes and workflows to enhance productivity, collaboration, and innovation.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication between digital teams and other business units to drive alignment and synergy.
Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship ManagementBuild strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, clients, and external partners to understand their digital needs and requirements.
Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, providing insights and recommendations on digital trends and technologies and identifying new opportunities to drive value and deepen client relationships.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize digital initiatives that deliver value and drive business growth and provide regular updates on progress towards goals.
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and inspire a team of product owners, who are leading agile product teams comprised of developers, designers, and analysts, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Create a compelling product vision that drives measurable business outcomes.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
Manage annual product budget to effectively deliver products in collaboration with Product Owner Managers and Sr Managers.
Foster a high-performance culture that values accountability, transparency, and teamwork.
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent required.
7-10 years of demonstrated experience in financial services including understanding of the client digital experience.
Hands on experience as product manager of software-based solutions.
Experience working in a leadership capacity directing the outcomes of staff in an agile structure.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and practices, with experience leading agile teams and driving agile transformation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization and clearly articulate concepts and rationale.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have product experience within wealth management, banking, asset management and/or insurance.
Proven track record of people leadership and management experience in digital initiatives within the financial services industry.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable digital strategies and initiatives.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
Deep knowledge of digital technologies, trends, and best practices in areas such as digital banking, fintech, customer experience, and data analytics.
Experience with setting technology strategy in alignment with business priorities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
