Tax Director- Estate & Trust
Marcum Search LLC the National Recruiting Division of Marcum LLP is recruiting for an Estate & Tax Director.
ResponsibilitiesThe Director will be responsible managing multiple Estate & Trust, (1041), and Individual (1040, HNW), tax engagements simultaneouslyA track record of delivering quality work for clients; demonstrating an understanding of the client's business and relevant professional standards and maintaining excellent client relationshipsBuild new and existing client relationships thru in depth understanding of client s business, and cross-selling other viable professional resourcesEfficiently attract, hire, mentor, and manage employee, and develop best practice regarding direct interactions with client's.
Provide staff with engagement reviews, and identify area's of success and/or areas in need of improvementParticipate in firm-sponsored activitiesDevelop staff by taking an active role in the Firm s learning and development activitiesQualificationsTrust, Estate, and Tax Compliance returnsLicensed CPA, 8
years of relevant experienceAbility to articulately communicate tax & technical accounting data to non-tax professionals, (Families, Owners, etc.
)Tax & Business Advisory skills related to Estate, Trust, Gifting, Generational Wealth Transfer, etcMarcum Search LLC offers premier professional recruiting services.

Compensation is between $150-200k
potential bonus.
