The VP of Wholesale Strategic Relationships is a newly created dynamic leadership position.
This leader will manage Berkshire Hathaway Guard Insurance's Wholesale strategic relationships.
We are looking to fill this role in either New York, NY, Parsippany, NJ.
Philadelphia, PA, Wilkes-Barre, PA, Atlanta, GA, or Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Rancho Cordova, CA, or Scottsdale, AZ.
The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3-days per week and also be available for travel as required.
ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the distribution management of key strategic relationships.
Keep Executive Management informed of significant developments within these relationshipsFacilitate communication between distribution management, field representatives, and underwriters.
Conduct regular in person and virtual meetings with key leadership at our strategic partners, including executive management, field Reps and underwriting management.
Provide summary documentation of meetings and follow up on action items.
Assist in identifying key drivers of profitable growth and negotiate commitments with partners.
Hold partners accountable for their commitments and production targets.
Identify key office locations and drivers of product in these locations and facilitate setup and training.
Keep relevant parties informed of successes and areas of improvement.
Organize discussions with key stakeholders within BH Guard and strategic partners on underwriting, product, service delivery, and claims process.
Share relevant information and reports with strategic partners, including producer activity reports, profitability reviews, and target appetite in small commercial package.
Develop metrics for monitoring relationships and track progress.
Attend scheduled sales meetings and report on relationship status.
Collaborate with Head of Distribution Management to set profitability and production goals.
Identify commission and incentives structures aligned with growth and profitability objectives.
Provide competitive intelligence reports to inform decision-making processes.
Qualifications10
years of experience in Property and Casualty.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Proven experience in distribution management and relationship management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to effectively communicate with executive management and key stakeholders.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in negotiating commitments with partners.
Strong Communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Ability to travel to wholesale partners.
Salary Range$120,000-$250,000.
