Position SummaryAssured Guaranty is seeking a talented and motivated individual to lead the next phase of our efforts to ensure consistently high data quality and data standards via modern data architecture.
The candidate will guide the future direction of data strategy and processes, including data sources, database design and structure, and data integrity and tools.
Additionally, the candidate will help to transform data and information into insights that enhance business decisions.
Position DescriptionProactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure information needs are formalized and understoodManage the data flow from third party data providers to ensure the Company is using the data in accordance with the contractIdentify areas where there is information overlap between vendors to potentially consolidate data sourcesReduce operational friction through standardized, repeatable processes and common approaches to data and analytics issues and identify opportunities for data usageImplement formal data governance approach and increase the maturity of the enterprise data capabilities and architectureDefine Enterprise Data Governance Policies and Standards and work with the Business, Legal, Accounting, and IT on implementation of these policiesGuide business in identifying, understanding, and responding to opportunities for process innovation, including automation when possible Participate in research, analysis, selection, and implementation of new tools, technologies, and/or services available Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashionCandidate BackgroundBachelor's degree from an accredited institutionMaster's degree preferredProven experience (5
years) in a data-focused leadership roleExperience in integrating complex cross-corporate data processes and data models, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecardsLeadership experience and broad management knowledge to buildout a new Financial Data Management functionRequires business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, and decision making skills Knowledgeable in SQL, Excel, data visualization, data architectureSkilled in transformations and creating large relational datasets across multiple applications and sources Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively Advanced knowledge and experience in process improvement methodologiesCompensationAnnual base salary for the position is expected to be from $150,000 per year to $185,000 per year.
The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions.
This position also provides applicable employee benefits, as well as eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
