Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Legal Compliance We are seeking experience to join our Legal Compliance team to support North America data privacy compliance, including HIPAA compliance.
Must be able to communicate nuanced legal guidance clearly and effectively to various audiences, exercise independent judgment, and juggle multiple projects effectively.
This is a hybrid position based out of the New York City office.
Must be an active member in good standing of at least one state s bar.
A mix of law firm and in-house experience for a global multinational company or other international experience is a significant plus.

Responsibilities:
Analyze proposed client service offerings and transactions for issues related to compliance with U.
S.
data privacy and healthcare privacy law.
Provide guidance on compliance with applicable Canadian data privacy law, supported by external counsel if required.
Monitor substantive developments in relevant areas of state and federal law and incorporate that knowledge into actionable guidance for the business.
Provide managerial oversight and drive completion of data privacy compliance projects across North America, with possible expansion of responsibilities to include Central and South America depending on experience and performance.
Assist Genpact corporate functions in complying with state and federal requirements applicable to the Genpact business, e.
g.
, state privacy laws applicable to employees, biometric data privacy laws.
Contribute to global legal compliance projects such as developing policies, providing training, and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Significant previous experience in a regulatory role, ideally working in a mid to senior role.
Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills.
Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Ability to analyse, present and report regulatory information to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
