Responsibilities:
Supervise the monthly advisor compensation and commission processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and managing any necessary adjustments.Oversight of the commission system utilized for calculating advisor compensation.Manage advisory fee billings across various custodians, programs, and platforms.Lead compensation-related projects and initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Provide direction and guidance to junior and mid-level team members, including training, development, and performance management.Maintain detailed and reconciled records of compensation arrangements.Collaborate closely with the accounting and HR teams to support their monthly processes.Act as a strategic partner to the broader business, contributing to informed decision-making through effective financial management.Skills, Experience &
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.10 years of experience in financial services, specifically in compensation and advisory fee billing.Experience with various wealth management commission and fee billing systems such as Xtiva, BRAC, SmartX, Envestnet, and Folio.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management skills (e.g., SQL, macros, etc.).Prior experience in overseeing system implementations and translating business requirements into actionable plans.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
