Job DetailsWe are actively seeking a Solar Estimating Manager with a strong background in Utility Scale Solar Projects, particularly those exceeding 100MW.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating, bidding, and managing the pre-construction phase of large-scale solar installations.
The role requires relocation to Ft.
Lauderdale and entails leading and building a team of estimators, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the success of our projects.
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of estimators, ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimates for Utility Scale Solar Projects ranging from 100MW to 500MW.
Lead, manage, and prepare various types of estimates for solar projects ranging from $10 million to $200 million in size from conception through the start of construction Oversee the development of comprehensive bid packages for multiple projects simultaneously.
Possess a strong background in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
Demonstrate expertise in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) processes, with a focus on solar project development.
Manage bids for large-scale solar projects exceeding 100MW, ensuring precision in estimating costs and timelines.
Handle bid packages for 2-3 projects concurrently, demonstrating multitasking abilities and strategic planning.
Be a leader or supervisor-level candidate with experience managing teams of more than two people.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, contributing to the growth and development of the estimating team.
Requirements:
Willingness to relocate to Ft.
Lauderdale.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience in estimating and bidding for Utility Scale Solar Projects of 100MW or more.
Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing teams in a collaborative and efficient manner.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
