A healthcare organization in New York City is actively seeking an experienced, licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (NP / PA) to join their Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in a Supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities:
The Supervising NP / PA will:
Perform physical exams, diagnose substance use disorders, provide medications for opioid use disorder and hepatitis C.
Supervise Lead Nurse and nursing team Provide oversight of nursing team's dispensing of medication and DEA reporting Assist medical director in development of nursing protocols, policies and procedures Embrace and include harm reduction in treatment of patients as part of the spectrum of care for substance use disorders
Qualifications:
1
year of related experience Bachelor's Degree NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license NYS Medicare and Medicaid enrollment Active DEA registration Buprenorphine training prior to start date or within two weeks of hire Desired Skills:
Substance Use Disorder Treatment experience prescribing Suboxone or Methadone.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) Previous experience in an Outpatient role/setting.
Background in Addiction and/or Internal Medicine Recommended Skills Certified Nurse Practitioner Internal Medicine Medicaid Medicare Methadone Nursing Apply to this job.
