We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Transportation Engineering Services Benchmarking team as a Program Manager.
The Program Manager will play a critical role for defining process within the Transportation Execution team and benchmark the processes within the different business units globally.
They will be responsible for defining Amazon values and technology with the best of lean management and six sigma to achieve excellence.
The team will benchmark processes across Pre-Construction, Construction, Engineering, and Start up.
Responsibilities:
o Utilize Lean Six Sigma based continuous improvement methodologies to engage teams to solve customer problems.
o Drive speed, quality, and simplification by eliminating rework loops, reducing and automating manual work and hand-offs, identifying and implementing best practices across the business, and minimizing process variability through standardization and automation.
o Ability to motivate others to achieve impeccable quality in an explosive growth and deadline-driven environment.
o Diagnose Amazon processes, identify improvement opportunities, prescribe improvement strategies, and guide the improvement effort.
o Responsible for leading and driving process improvements (short-term wins) as well as process design / redesign (long-term wins) efforts.
o Create global best practice documentation and facilitate sharing across the globe.
o Maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders and understanding our highest priority execution pain-points and opportunities, which will translate into benchmarking initiatives that improve processes, tools, and team capabilities.
o Provide feedback for engineering concepts, Request for Proposal development for Material Handling Equipment as well as Construction efforts.
o Manage vendors to follow Amazon expectations.

TES group is comprised of leaders delivering on projects comprising but not restricted to Construction and Design, Operations Engineering and Vendor Management.
The Benchmarking and Analytics group that you will directly be a part of, leads continuous improvement across the various stages of the project lifecycle against industry standards and using data analysis to drive decision making.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
