Role Purpose
The Research Coordinator will provide full administrative support to the SVP, Entertainment Research & Decision Sciences for the Entertainment Networks (NBC, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, Universal Kids, & USA) and serve as liaison with both internal constituents and external vendors. Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to generate and distribute reports and analyze viewership across age, gender, and other demographics, using both television ratings and digital data.
Responsibilities:

Support administrative needs of SVP, Entertainment Research & Decision Sciences by professionally answering phones, preparing all correspondence, expenses and travel arrangements, and coordinating calendars, including meetings and appointments

Assist in ongoing operations of the office/team, including ensuring conference rooms are coordinated and equipped to handle virtual/in-person hybrid meetings

Coordinate IT and facilities services for department, and order team office supplies as needed

Ideate, plan and execute on department events/experiences to drive team culture

Track and file Research department invoices, and manage department project budget

Facilitate RFP (request for proposal) process with research vendors

Manage, execute, and proofread research reports and projects as assigned
Basic
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Affinity for numbers / data

Attention to detail

Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice

Must be willing to work in New York, NY

Excellent proofreading skills

Awareness and interest in current TV programming and the TV landscape, along with the various ways to watch TV content

Prior administrative assistant experience preferred

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
