The NBA's Direct to Consumer team's mission is to bring the world courtside by providing the NBA experience for everyone, everywhere.
The group creates and manages digital products that extend the league's global reach, from mobile applications to virtual reality experiences.
It also delivers live games, exclusive content, and experiences to fans across different devices through NBA League Pass, the league's premium subscription offering, and NBA ID, the league's membership program.
The DTC team is responsible for developing strategies for distributing and monetizing content with our global regional offices and partners.
Position SummaryIn this role, you will help drive the next phase of growth and engagement for the NBA's membership program, NBA ID.
Your focus will be on enabling better data-driven tactics and decision-making through analytics for the NBA ID program leads along with the product, marketing, partner and content teams who bring the member experience to life.
You will build foundational analyses of the member journey through our products to drive awareness and understanding across stakeholders, while also establishing baselines and forecasting results.
You will also work directly with program leads to collaborate with NBA team and membership partners to measure impact of initiatives meant to drive incremental growth and engagement.
In conjunction with data scientists, data engineers and other analysts, you will also help design and build an analytics layer to facilitate deeper analyses, better reporting and more efficient insight derivation.
Additionally, you will partner with marketing leads to support CRM efforts to drive member growth and engagement with new initiatives and features.
Lastly, you will convey insights in actionable ways that can influence strategic decision-making and prioritization for our management team.

Major ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of data driven strategies to drive the growth of the NBA membership program through partnership opportunities, innovative product features, content initiatives, and marketing/communication effortsLead deep analysis of membership executions within the NBA's owned digital products to draw insights that drive critical decision-makingPerform analysis on NBA ID growth and engagement via NBA Teams and connected membership with league partnersLead target-setting and forecasting for digital product feature performance around member initiativesDrive diagnostic and predictive modelling efforts with data science team to better understand NBA fan behaviorSupport marketing and CRM efforts with NBA members through custom audience developmentParticipate in the measurement and data collection efforts around our NBA ID program, which may include working with external partners to resolve questions, inconsistencies, and/or obtain missing dataAssist with data development efforts for the NBA's Fan Data Platform, with a focus on both 1st and 3rd party datasets, to enable greater analytic capabilities and improve the value of the NBA's dataWork directly with data engineers to help build our analytics team data environmentProvide strategic recommendations to program leads, product managers, designers, business strategy and marketing leads based on analysis of our productsRequired Education/Professional ExperienceBachelor's degree required5
years of experience in an analytical role Experience working on digital experiences and membership programs is a plusRequired Skills/Knowledge AttributesDemonstrated ability to conduct data analysis, deliver actionable insights, and work directly with stakeholders to implement and measure recommended actions Fluency with SQL Strong working knowledge of Python or R Strong working knowledge of best-in-class data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) Experience working in a cloud-based data warehouse environment (Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.
) Experience with statistical models and running regressions applied to consumer-facing products Experience with product/marketing event-level data collection and analytical tools (Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, etc.
) Excellent presentation and written communication skills Knowledge of basketball and a passion for the NBA and sports is helpful and welcomed!Salary Range:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
