TCI has an immediate need for a Remote Java/SQL Developer.
This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity.
This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire.

SUMMARYThe Remote Java/SQL Developer researches, designs, implements and manage software programs as well as testing and evaluating new programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Writing and implementing efficient code.
Develop quality assurance procedures and deploy software tools, processes and metrics.
Works closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.
Acts as team leader on projects.
Participates in development of software user manuals.
Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
Consults with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
Participates in application architecture design reviews.
Translating business and technical requirements into application architecture definition and designing alternatives/solutions to meet business requirements Reviews, analyzes, and identifies computer systems functional and system requirements.
Participates on teams that outline the process and scope out improvements that can be realized through the application solution.
Evaluates and performs design tradeoffs regarding the architecture and software components.
Maintains highly complex and technical applications and systems.
Revises and updates applications, procedures, and systems, including rewrites to documentation and operating instructions as necessary.
Provides mentoring to associate analyst/programmers.
Must provide support during software deployments and server Patching during maintenance windows Provide production support when required including during off hours REQUIREMENTS Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required.
If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required.
Motivated self-starter with excellent analytical, organization, and troubleshooting skills.
Languages:
Java, Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
Frameworks:
J2EE, REST API, MVC, JSF, JPA, EJB, JDBC, XML, DTD/XSD.
Web/Front End:
JSP, Servlets, AJAX, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, XML, HTML, JQuery, DHTML Concepts OOAD, UML, Design Patterns, Data Modeling.
Automated Testing:
Junit, Selenium.
Agile scrum methodologies.
Must be a U.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
