How will you make an impact in this role?Act as the incentive compensation & governance center of excellence (COE) for GSG and TLS and the Colleague Strategic Partner (CSP) and Colleague Market Partner (CMP) community, regarding AXP incentive guiding principles processes and policiesPlay a lead role as Secretary of the Incentive Governance Committees for GSG in coordinating the, preparing agenda, materials, vetting all the content and ensuring the right stakeholders have been brought alongProvide people leadership to a team delivering incentive compensation design and governance consultation and support to ensure a risk balanced approach, including driving engagement and team growth and development in a changing environment.
Play a lead role in key compensation projects, in partnership with Global & Int l Compensation, CLR, as well as 1st and 2nd line colleaguesPartner with Global & Int l compensation team, on GSG & TLS compensation matters, consulting and collaborating with CSPs, CMP and business leaders on total compensation workProvide consulting advice to the business in the development of leading practice incentive design and approaches in the context of total compensationServe as primary contact to business leadership on incentive program design and governance, including performance incentives, contests and referralsChallenge the status quo and find innovative solutions to existing processes while understanding the intricacies of each marketEffectively and efficiently manage business expectations and raise appropriate issues to Senior LeadershipPartner across the company to drive continuous improvement in total compensationMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in relevant field required8
years demonstrated experience in incentive compensation and exposure to a broad range of compensation practices and experienceExperience designing, governing elements of total compensation programsSelf-starter attitude with ability to learn quickly and work independentlyAbility to communicate to and influence senior leaders and demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholdersProven experience successfully managing multiple, multi-faceted projects and producing quality deliverables on timeExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships and work effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
Ability to deal with issues and subject matter in ways that sometimes requires considerable sensitivity, discretion and judgmentRisk Governance mindsetPreferred QualificationsExperience / familiarity working in CEG and/or familiarity with American Express business groups preferredProven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to develop talentNon-considerations for sponsorship:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
