Citi continues to enhance its business control and governance framework by building out Institutional Credit Management (ICM), a new function in the 1st Line of Defense, to house and consistently manage credit risk activities performed across its Institutional Client Group organization.
ICM's Counterparty Credit Risk's objective is to provide integrated end-to-end credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit risk across the enterprise.
Within ICM, the Underwriting function provides analysis, greenlight, underwriting, first-line-of-defense credit approval and subsequent credit monitoring across all ICG wholesale credit businesses including Banking, Capital Markets, and Advisory (BCMA), Global Structured Products, Financings, and Securitizations (GSP-F&S), Treasury & Trade Services (TTS), Markets, and Securities Services (MSS).
The Senior ICM Counterparty Credit Portfolio Manager will lead the 1st LoD (line of defense) Alternative Asset Management underwriting effort of a diverse client base of Hedge Funds (HFs), Private Equity (PE) and Markets family office (IFO) clients engaged in full suite of trading and lending products.
Primary activities include credit due diligence, credit reviews, credit approvals, and monitoring of the portfolio within the risk appetite of the overall business strategy.
Candidate should have experience managing hedge funds, private equity and Institutional family office.

Responsibilities:
Leading and managing a global HF, PE and IFO teamRole demands excellence in analysis, underwriting, monitoring, and drives global consistency across regionsLeading due diligence efforts and managing counterparty credit risk to a global portfolio of HFs, PE and highly institutionalized family office clientsProvide oversight and challenge for the business covering full range of productsNegotiation of credit structures and documentation, including ISDA's, Derivatives Clearing, FCM.
Prime Brokerage and Repo documentsReview and approve client reviews, credit facilities, specific transactions, and exceptions within delegated credit authorityCollaborating with 2LOD colleagues to develop credit underwriting standards and policies for extending credit to institutional family officesSetting a global culture which demands excellence in analysis, underwriting, monitoring, and drives global consistency across regionsStrong knowledge of derivatives and structured lendingFacilitate relationships with key clients and internal partnerships
Qualifications:
15
years of experience in financial services and risk management requiredSignificant risk/risk-related counterparty credit work experience in banking/financial institutions with expertise in hedge funds, private equity, family office and alternative investment counterpartiesExperience in people managementClient Relationships / Business Partnership:
Navigates organizational complexity and breaks silosCreates and sustains a network of strong partnerships with the business in all segments & geographies and other risk functionsProven track record of partnering with global peers in leveraging and implementation of best practicesKnowledge, skills and experience required:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
