Licensed Practical Nurse


Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
Qualifications:
Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New York
Previous experience in behavioral health or nursing home settings preferred
Proficiency in venipuncture and medication administration
Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices
Familiarity with ventilator care and spinal tap procedures is a plus
