To do that, we've built the leading healthcare marketplace that makes it easy to find and book in-person or virtual care in all 50 states, across +200 specialties and +12k insurance plans.
By giving patients the ability to see and choose, we give them power.
In doing so, we can make healthcare work like every other consumer sector, where businesses compete for customers, not the other way around.
In time, this will drive quality up and prices down.

Your Impact on our Mission:
As a Principal Designer on Design Systems, you'll help evolve our early-stage design system into a robust organization that scales product quality and design craftsmanship across cross-functional teams.
To do it, you'll help drive vision and strategy for the design system, establish tools and processes to evangelize adoption, and design new UX patterns and components.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in design systems, visual craft, design tools, leadership skills, and a passion for creating delightful healthcare experiences for patients and providers.
You'll enjoy this role if you are A thought leader who can inspire and motivate a variety of teams to collaborate and deliver high-quality workTechnically minded and excited about building systems-level solutions in close collaboration with engineering Detail-oriented and value-diving into the pixels to deliver well-crafted visual designAble to drive through ambiguity to align around solutions and thrive in a fast-paced environmentYour day to day is Own and evolve our internal design system, Mezzanine, including coordinating across multiple design and engineering teamsElevate visual design excellence across the design teamIntroduce and implement new systems and tools to improve the evolution, adoption, and deployment of our design systemCollaborate closely with engineering and design leadership to define and deliver design system progressProvide clear direction and guidance to design and engineering teams to align their work with the broader goals of the companyYou'll be successful in this role if you have A proven track record of design system thought leadership, with the ability to inspire and motivate a design team to champion design systems and hold a high bar for product quality.
Extensive experience with building and evolving design systems, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your approach and technical prowess BA/BS degree in Design (e.
g.
, interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial) or a related field of equivalent practical experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and guidance.
Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, capable of leading and delivering on complex projects with diverse stakeholdersDeep technical expertise and experience building and evolving design systems, especially around migration and adoptionA life-long learner mentality with a growth mindset.
