You ll be working closely with the frontend engineering and product teams to develop user-facing features and given the opportunity to work across the React Native mobile app.
In this role you will:
Write well designed, testable, efficient codeIdentify opportunities to refactor and make features more robustCoordinate with QA to test new featuresBe responsible for writing unit and integration testsWork together with the backend team to come up with requirements for an APIIn terms of qualifications, we re seeking:

years of React Native experienceProven hands-on Software Development experienceProven experience in React Native, TypeScript/JavaScript, Redux/Global state management frameworksStrong UX design skills, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of how to optimize the delivery of code and assets to a browser or deviceAbility to articulate the benefits and challenges of depending on front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-setsAbility to write testable codeGreat interpersonal skills with a team-player dispositionKnowledge of the start-up world preferredA burning desire to win and reach overall company goalsFlexibility - we are disrupting an industry so changes to traditional processes should be expected

Bilt's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role.
As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range.
Bilt rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time.
The salary range for a React Native Front End Engineer is 160K - 200K and will be eligible for equity and an annual performance based bonus.
