The Americas Division (AD) was established in the Bank, New York Branch) to perform corporate functions and supervise U.S. entities. Established under the AD are the Global Banking Unit (GBU), Americas Division and Global Markets Unit (GMU), Americas Division which performs business functions. The Human Resources Department (HRD) provides services and guidance to the Bank in order to attract, retain, motivate, employees who will provide high-quality services. In addition to the department's daily operations, guidance and direction is provided to Head of Departments and Management in order to maximize efficient use of human capital while protecting the Bank from employment-related legal risks.Position Overview:
The position promotes a culture of employee engagement as well as enhances the learning and development throughout the Americas Division. The position will design and execute Branch-wide strategies to promote employee development, employee engagement, career planning, and enhanced employee performance. Delivers management programs, leadership development, cultural awareness programs, technical skills building, other non-technical skills building, and HRD-related compliance training. Manages and organizes all HRD-employee events and activities.Duties and
Responsibilities:
Serves as the subject matter expert on learning and organizational development issues and assessing needs through research and consultation. Manages the Bank's Learning Management System and assigns all online learning for the Bank. Works with Departments to understand needs and assign training. Completes a reconciliation process for all assigned training. Provides accurate reports to relevant parties. Evaluates learning and development programs to determine effectiveness and manages continuous improvement initiatives. Leveraging business data, employee engagement, direct employee feedback, and industry leading practices to influence the Bank's learning and development strategy, career management programs, leadership/management development initiatives, and employee learning experiences. Proposes training and development programs and objectives. Coordinate external learning and development solutions on an ad hoc basis. Develops strategic annual event and activity plan to inspire wellbeing, team building, and social interactions. Methods of engagement may include webinars, onsite, and offsite events. Coordinates and executes all event plans to improve employee engagement and overall culture while fostering an open communication and continuous improvement environment. Provides reporting on all events and measures KPIs. Coordinates the Bank's Sustainability initiatives activities to enhance employee awareness of SDGs and make improvements in the local community. Provides impact reporting from events. Assists in the Bank's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives to ensure that the Bank maintains a culture of inclusion. Assists in fostering the Bank's culture to attract, retain, and promote a diverse and sustainable workforce for the organization. Includes the development of policies and programs. Supports bank-wide activities on an as needed basis. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Organizational Psychology, or its equivalent with 5
years of related experience. MBA in organizational behavior/ human resources/ organizational psychology, preferred. Exceptional in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access). Experience with ADP Workforce Now and training management software. Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, good oral and written communication skills. Applied knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design methodologies and instructional delivery techniques.
