Commercial Property Accountant Position About the Real Estate Company CFS of New York is working with a Real Estate and Investment firm as they are looking for an Accountant to join their team Our client boasts one of the largest real estate portfolios in the US, as they have 450
properties including retail, residentials, office, and hotel buildings This role reports to the Controller and Assistant Controller and will be asked to in the office daily in Jersey City, NJ Competitive Salary, Benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Commuter Benefits Great Place to get Started, helpful people around, well-run company Great Experience working in a corporate setting with a very friendly office Team Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Accountant Preparing monthly reports on the Commercial property business including all active properties that the firm works with Reviewing the budgets for the construction including working on conducting monthly requisitions for contractors Comply with the development of accounting policies and procedures Comply with internal controls policies and procedures Qualifications of the Commercial Property Accountant 3-5 years experience of relevant accounting experience in Real Estate Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA is a plus Experience working with an ERP system such as Yardi, MRI or Deltek is a plus; strong Excel skills Recommended Skills Accounting Construction Enterprise Resource Planning Financial Management Internal Controls Magnetic Resonance Imaging Apply to this job.
