How you'll make an impact:
This position will provide technical leadership and management of the Atlassian engineering team and products.
You will drive the Atlassian Datacenter roadmap and architecture across the organization to ensure an implementation of best-in-class, highly available, secure Atlassian platforms including JIRA, Confluence, Tempo, Bitbucket and other associated plugins.
Provide oversight of the design, maintenance and enhancement of best-in-class Atlassian technologies and governance policies in line with the goals of SiriusXM.
This leader will also identify and evaluate opportunities for new technologies, like cloud platform and AI, as well as partner with internal business users to identify needs around reporting, custom integrations, and other development needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Atlassian products, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and efficiency within our engineering team.
What you'll do Lead and mentor an agile, geographically distributed team of Atlassian engineers and administrators responsible for the delivery of Atlassian services across the enterpriseDesign and provide oversight over the global Atlassian environment and roadmapEvaluate emerging technologies for potential integration with our Atlassian ecosystem, and provide recommendations for adoptionProvide leadership, roadmap and activity planning, and technical guidance to produce required deliverables and meet project milestonesBuild strong partnerships with Product and Technology leaders across the organization, including leading the Atlassian CouncilBuild new Jira projects, integrations, and author workflows based on user requirementsPerform advanced troubleshooting tasks on Atlassian nodes including resource utilization and stack trace analysisManage the Confluence environment and create spaces, pages, page templates as necessaryManage roles and permissions for tools according to functional areas, production processes, projects teamsManage the implementation of Tempo time tracking plug-in and associated financial and compliance reporting Ensure system availability of all Atlassian tools based on defined SLAsHandle service ticket queue to ensure timely resolution for end user issuesOversee the creation of comprehensive documentation and training materials to support end-users and administrators of Atlassian technologies.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related technical disciplines or equivalent practical experience10

years of experience leading Atlassian engineering teams In-depth knowledge of Atlassian products and plug-ins, along with proficiency in related technologies such as Java, JavaScript, SQL, etc.

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary.
We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $163,300 to $220,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
