Paralegal
LHH has partnered with a boutique litigation business litigation firm located in Downtown Los Angeles. We are searching for a Sr. Litigation paralegal who holds a strong work ethic, works with minimal direction, learns new software tools quickly and independently, and is comfortable working in a fastu2010paced, team-focused and dynamic law firm.
Key
Responsibilities:
Craft and revise legal correspondence and documents, including discovery materials, ex parte applications, briefs, pleadings, and motions.
Act as a liaison for attorneys, managing information exchange and progressing tasks with autonomy, while discerning when to escalate issues.
Manage a high volume of document processing, including scanning, labeling, organizing, and producing documents with Bates numbering and maintaining discovery indexes; adeptness with eDiscovery tools is essential.
Support deposition and trial preparations by assembling notices, exhibits, witness lists, expert designations, and organizing binders.
Handle case calendaring and court deadlines proficiently with calendaring software.
Experience with various legal settings, including State, USDC, Appellate Court, and Arbitration proceedings, is advantageous.
Maintain regular communication with attorneys to update on task completion.
Desirable Skills:
Proficiency in MS Word, including macros, document comparison, and track changes.
Skilled in Adobe features like document comparison, redaction, Bates numbering, and page organization.
Comfortable using file transfer platforms such as ShareFile and Dropbox.
Knowledgeable in eDiscovery platforms like Logikcull and Relativity.
Experienced in court-rule based calendaring for both State and Federal court cases.
Competent in legal research with Westlaw.
Familiarity with Excel and MS Teams.
Background in State and Federal court filings.
Cite checking and Bluebooking capabilities are a plus.

Qualifications:
Daily tracking and recording of billable time.
A team player with a commitment to communication, cooperation, and collaboration.
A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in litigation support.
Technological proficiency and experience with MS Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, iManage, PACER, e-Filing platforms, eDiscovery tools, and Westlaw are highly preferred.
Compensation:
Salary 110k-125k

$11,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
