Our client is a well known nonprofit organization that is looking to bring on an HR Generalist to support their broader HR function. This role will be onsite 3 days a week in NYC and has a base salary of $70K - $85K.
Description
Support the end-to-end internal recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
Serve as a point of contact for employee relation matters, including conflict resolution and performance reviews.
Maintain benefit administration process including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pension, and 401K.
Coordinate training and development programs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Support the greater HR team on ad hoc projects as needed.
Profile
3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, experience in a nonprofit setting preferred.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field required.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Knowledge of current HR state laws.
