Securities Operations Associate

NYL Investors LLC, an integrated asset management enterprise with over $200 billion under management is currently seeking s Securities Operations Associate to perform functions related to securities settlement and mortgage backed allocations.
Responsibilities include:
Confirm trade details and provide allocations to the counterparties electronically via OASYS Communicate trades electronically via SWIFT messaging to custodians Review custodian settlement reports to ensure all trades settle on settlement date Research failed trades with counterparties and publish fail details for management review Confirm Tri Party REPO trade details with counterparties electronically, communicate instructions to custodians, and monitor collateral Allocate pools to TBA trades, process pair off wires, and communicate fails to management Work with management and Information Technology to improve current processes.
Qualifications:
College degree (1 to 3 years experience in the Financial industry) Knowledge of Fixed Income Mortgage Backed Settlements Knowledge of OASYS Strong systems skills; advanced skills in Excel is a plus Good oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and client service skills General Profile :
