Summary:


The producer assists corporations and otherfor-profit entities, non-profit organizations, and individuals in protectingthemselves and their assets from loss associated with insurable hazards andrisks.

Responsibilities:


Develops initial and ongoing businessrelationships with clients, insurance carriers and organizations.



  • Producesnew business revenue by:



contacting prospective clients todetermine their needs;


developing proposals based on industry knowledge designed to bestmeet the customers' needs;


selling proposed services andproducts



  • Serves as adviser and consultant by helping customers analyzerisks and find innovative solutions to coverage, exposure, and price;communicate coverage recommendations and options to the customer and negotiatefavorable coverages and rates.




  • Maintains and increases both job knowledge and value to thecustomer by keeping current with legislative changes, industry trends andproduct offerings.




  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as requested.



Qualifications:



  • Education - BA/BS in Business or related field preferred. Relevantexperience may be substituted for formal education.



Must hold required licenses


Required Job Skills:



  • 7-10 years demonstrated experience in a similar sales-related rolewith an insurance brokerage/agency


  • Ability to work with senior management on assignments including theability to assume client relationship responsibility


  • Ability to handle inside sales which includes preparingspecifications for markets, ability to provide creative structure and pricingto personal insurance programs


  • Ability to prepare and present RFP and new business proposals


  • Excellent communication skills, including listening, speaking,writing and presenting


  • Flexibility and creativity for developing innovative andcustomized business solutions


  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills


  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and presentationsoftware applications


  • Superior carrier insurance market relationships and knowledge


  • Regional position with potential for some national travel asneeded for client meetings. Travel less than 10% of the time



Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
