Equinox is seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst to report to the Director, Corporate Finance. As an Equinox analyst, you will be responsible for our annual and quarterly financial review processes, including our long range plan, board preparation, earnings calls and business valuation models. In addition, you will assist the Director on capital market assignments and special projects, with direct exposure to our executives. The ideal candidate will solve complex challenges and identify new opportunities using a combination of analytical rigor, business acumen, strategic thinking, cross functional partnership and project management skills. This position has high visibility to senior management and is located in our NYC headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Prepare quarterly board materials, covering company strategy, as well as financial and operating performance for Equinox, SoulCycle and Blink
Create and maintain long range financial projections for use in quarterly valuation models, strategic planning and related projects
Analyze actual club-by-club returns and other investment opportunities
Evaluate currency and interest rate hedging opportunities and maintain associated quarterly dashboards
Work closely with Business Analytics and Financial Planning & Analysis teams on financial and strategic projects
Work on ad hoc capital structure / financing and other special projects for senior management team
Work and maintain relationships with third party counterparts, including investment bankers, company counsel, lenders and ratings agencies
Maintain compliance certificate and other lender / agency requirements for our existing capital structure
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field
1-2 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, private equity, business / corporate development or other relevant fields
Excellent financial modeling skills, with strong grasp of accounting fundamentals
Highly advanced Microsoft Excel
Organized, detail oriented, proactive, able to multi-task and manage multiple concurrent responsibilities and requests
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
