Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program (DSRIP) is an innovative multi-billion dollar incentive program designed to fundamentally change the health care delivery system in New York to create a higher performing, financially viable and patient-centered system. DSRIP's overall goal is to reduce avoidable hospital use by 25% by implementing novel clinical and care management programs for attributed Medicaid beneficiaries. Up to $6.42 billion dollars have been allocated to this program with payouts based upon achieving predefined results in system transformation, clinical management and population health.
Unique to this initiative is the implementation of long-term changes to the delivery system in a highly-matrixed, regulatory environment directed by the State across a five-year term. This creates a significant and exciting opportunity to transform health care delivery for the State's Medicaid population.
The DSRIP Project Coordinator will be a key team member of the Mount Sinai DSRIP Project Management Office (PMO), working with the Mount Sinai Performing Provider System (PPS) stakeholders to execute an innovative approach to developing an integrated delivery network. The Project Coordinator assists in the execution of plans for DSRIP administration and implementation, reporting directly to a Project Manager but also supporting the PMO Directors' Team.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.Oversee preparation for New York State Dept. of Health (DOH) deliverables including quarterly MAPP submissions, audits, PPS wide meetings and presentations, and ad hoc DOH requests
2.Provide direct planning and tactical support to Directors' team including:
a.Development and maintenance of executive-level PMO dashboards and reports
b.Management and preparation for executive-level meeting series, including agenda setting, meeting content and minutes preparation, and required follow up
c.Budget preparation and tracking
d.Staff development and programming
3.Contribute to execution of DSRIP implementation strategies with oversight from Leadership
a.Maintain a detailed timeline for activities; Coordinates and leads assigned activities ensuring that assignments are completed on deadlines
b.Align, modify, and maintain work plans, status reports, and templates
c.Assist with data requests and reports
d.Monitor implementation activities to facilitate coordination across DSRIP teams, notify Leadership when issues arise, and take corrective actions as needed
e.Facilitate implementation meetings, including: agenda setting, organization of meeting content, meeting minute preparation, and required follow up
4.Convene working groups and delegate requirements as necessary
5.Perform other related duties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Related
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience successfully coordinating complex, multi-disciplinary and high-value projects. Experience in health care setting preferred.
Skills:
Outstanding communication skills; strong organizational and writing skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and assignments
Exceptional attention to detail
Working knowledge and interest in advancing the health care industry
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
