E! News online is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated full-time team player to join its New York news team.
The individual will discover, write and publish breaking news stories, aggregate items, feature articles and photo galleries all of which drive the pop culture conversation. He/she will also create original, social-skewing content, as well as produce POV pieces and ideations. A key player in setting the tone for both the East and West coast teams, he/she will be assigned articles and is expected to pitch daily story ideas. He/she will be up to date on everything in pop culture not just in Hollywood.
The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of and a love for entertainment, experience working in a fast-paced environment and a collaborative spirit. An ability to write copy cleanly, quickly and efficiently is a must. Minimum one-year experience in a deadline writing environment
