Position summary
The HTML Developer works as part of the Tag Design & Interactive (TDI) digital team, producing online and mobile advertising campaigns for a range of world famous brand clients. The HTML developer works collaboratively with our highly skilled design team to turn designs into high quality digital media using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Job duties
Develop online advertising campaign materials, primarily HTML5 rich media and microsites
Use rich media serving platforms effectively
Ability to work either solely with a PM or as part of a team of designers and developers, depending on scope of the project
Create on-line material to fulfil advertising media schedules to various specs
Fully test and QC all work to ensure it is suitably prepared for presentation by the project manager to client
Willing to put forward ideas and have a keen eye for detailMake sure that all work produced is to a suitably high standard and within brand guidelines and specifications.
Requirements
Job qualifications
B.A. Degree in Computer Science
2 or more years of proven hands on experience in Front End/web development
Expert knowledge of CSS/(X)HTML
Experience in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, PHP and MySQL professional-level hand coded HTML and CSS skills, along with the ability to hand code from Photoshop mockups
Standards-compliant code/cross-browser compatible code (back to IE 7) plus knowledge of accessibility and usability best practices and techniques
Experienced and competent in responsive web and email design practices
Experience with device-/browser-specific testing and debugging
Fluency in best practices for web/mobile information architecture. Keeping updated on new front-end development methods and technologies
General understanding of UI/UX
Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
Basic knowledge of Flash with AS2 and AS3 is a plus
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to work on multiple projects at once and time sensitive deadlines
Great attention to detail
Confident, with good communication skills
Experience with main ad-serving platforms (MediaMind, DoubleClick, etc.)
Enthusiasm for emerging media and technology trends
Can Do attitude.
