Job Summary
Responsible for supports in all areas of financial and managerial accounting: producing timely, accurate and reliable financial reports, and supports for CFOA through handling finance related projects and creating accountable presentations. Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems. This individual may have oversight of a small team of junior staff to ensure all daily responsibilities are completed. Individual at this level is fully knowledgeable on the day-to-day activities of a product or process, however, will require input on more complex issues, and would be expected to contribute to work flow or process change and redesign, May also be accountable for regular reporting or process administration as owner.
Responsible for administrative supports for a group including assistance for Deputy CFO, etc.
Major Responsibilities
Overall responsibility is for the development and management of both internal and external reporting of financial information. Focus can be on: Financial Management:
Liaise with Tokyo Head Offices such as Global Planning Division and Corporate Planning Division.
Create performance reports for senior management based on managerial accounting rules.
Develop and streamline the reporting process, structure and methodology.
Prepare time sensitive reports.
Prepare regular & ad-hoc presentations for CFOA.
Handle and support finance related projects.
Work out finance related issues (e.g. managerial accounting and finance related projects) with Lines of Business and Support Units.
Prepare monthly managerial reports to Tokyo Head Office and respond to questions from them.
Execution of budget projection and analysis.
Analyze and examine facility & system investment applications and give appropriate instructions to applicant.
Administrative supports for a team including assistance for Deputy CFO, expense control for the team, logistics for important meetings with executives that are usually held on quarterly basis.
Qualifications
7 years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
Excellent communication and organization skills
Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills are recommended
Bilingual in English and Japanese would be preferable

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
