What You'll Do:
The Center for Biostatistics in the Department of Population Health Science and Policy at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai seeks a full time statistical analyst. The candidate will work closely with the faculty in the Center for Biostatistics.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
The candidate will assist with the design of observational and randomized clinical trials and will participate to the statistical advisory service. He/she will assist with data tabulation and preparation of reports for DBMS, Steering Committee and NIH meetings, and will be responsible for analysis of data for the statistical advisory service and other ongoing clinical trials.
Must be able to work independently, under minimal supervision and as part of a team.
What You'll Bring:
Education and
Experience:
Masters degree in Biostatistics or related discipline and at least two years of related experience or equivalent in data analysis.
Must have excellent research methods skills and experience with both qualitative and quantitative data. Excellent computer skills are required including experience with SAS, SPSS, S-Plus or R, Excel, MS Word and the internet.
