Manager of Information Technology

Overview
The IT Manager is responsible for providing technical leadership for the Information Technology department at all offices, as well as project management, vendor and contractor management, oversight of systems administration and network infrastructure, and help desk management. This position is responsible for budgetary management, ensuring that funds are cost effectively spent on technologies that support business objectives.
In addition, the IT Manager provides hands-on support in the areas of systems and network administration and is responsible for coordinating and participating in the after-hours rotation for server and network support that maintains business continuity.
Responsibilities
Provide management oversight of the Systems Administrator and IT Support Technician positions; to include project and task assignments, goal setting, defining professional development, and conducting annual performance reviews
Manage IT budgetary expenses in accordance with project and computing needs
Define, implement and deploy proof of concept projects involving new technologies that keep the company parallel with emergent technology that meets business objectives
Manage vendor and contractor relationships, to include the enforcement of Service Level Agreements, as well as negotiating product, service and costs
Manage small to large-scale IT projects
Define and implement best practice guidelines and solutions for IT staff; resulting in an agile and adaptable support environment that accommodates high quality computer support
Provide primary management to cloud based file hosting services, as well as SaaS based application hosting services
Provide primary systems administration to the in-house server environment; to include both metal and virtual environments
Provide primary after-hours support to all data centers, across all three offices, as well as coordinating the after-hours rotation between the Systems Administrator and the contracted Systems Engineer
Occasional travel to remote offices to maintain support standards with IT staff, as well as systems and network overview to ensure business continuity
Coordinate and lead technical training for staff, focusing on applications that support business objectives. This will include applications for both the Macintosh and Windows platforms
Responsible for creating and updating topology documentation, focusing on server and network infrastructure diagrams, and connectivity to cloud based systems and applications
Develop, analyze, implement and audit compliance with information security policies as they pertain to client requirements and industry best practice
Clearly and effectively communicate technical project and IT departmental status updates to the Director of Operations
Qualifications
Advanced knowledge and skill sets in server side technologies, virtualization, network architecture, cloud hosting and SaaS based applications
Strong analytical, evaluative, problem solving and assessment skills for help desk, project and process management
Strong project management skills; from concept through implementation
Ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to shape, mold and motivate an agile and adaptable team
Self-motivated and directed with the ability to set and manage priorities
Excellent written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on customer service
Overarching technical knowledge for making sound recommendations of new technologies that contribute to business objectives

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree
7
years of professional IT experience in the management of systems and/or network administration, help desk and desktop support, where at least four (4) years have been in a senior, lead, or supervisory capacity
Must have experience supporting both Macintosh and Windows servers and desktops in a professional environment
Experience working in an agile IT environment, able to change and adapt with technical solutions that fit the business acumen

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
