What You'll Do:
Performs clerical and receptionist duties essential to the operation of patient care as directed and also receives instructions from physicians and nurses
Identifies by use of the plate imprinter, the stationery (e.g., Kardex Chart Forms) and requisitions of each patient
Maintains up-to-date patient rosters (e.g., locator board, TPR, BP, weight book
Maintains a system for tracking the location of each patient on the unit
Transcribes physicians' orders and follows through appropriately in their implementation
