Overview
The Vice President, Account Services (VPAS) is responsible for building relationships between the agency and one or more of the major clients, as well as acquiring new business for the agency. The VPAS will generally look after client needs through direct contact, liaison, and the marshaling of agency resources. The VPAS is responsible for building and maintaining a profitable account portfolio, while driving excellence in Rauxa's creative and strategic output. The VPAS is directly responsible for agency growth and profitability.
The VPAS leads and guides the development of overall client priorities and business objectives, providing ongoing strategic direction for each assigned account. He/she oversees multiple accounts or groups of accounts within Rauxa. The VPAS focuses on leading and developing positive client relationships at the highest levels, maintaining overall account health to achieve revenue growth for the agency. Responsibilities include orchestrating and developing account team members, providing strategic leadership, driving revenue growth, and contributing to the broader organizational development.
The VPAS will be an active, day-to-day agency representative to the client and will maintain a highly responsive service orientation in all transactions. They must be knowledgeable in both the client's business and the agency business. The VPAS reviews all creative concepts and strategic recommendations to confirm alignment with the client's business objectives before they are presented to the client.

Account Management
Establishes and meets annual and monthly sales goals
Maintains direct, day-to-day, senior level client contact and supervises one or more key accounts
Partners with the Client Service team to manage job-level and account-level profitability of the business
Partners with the Client Service team to ensure proper agency support is allocated to client jobs
Reviews and approves all job launch briefs prior to project kick-offs
Analyzes client input, together with background knowledge to direct the internal Rauxa team
Provides internal teams with well-documented input, support data, and production materials as required
Manages client annual budgets and communicates updates to clients as needed
Keeps appraised of all relevant client products/services/marketing developments
Partners with the Client Service team to develop project quotes & schedules for client approval
Reviews and approves all final creative materials, such as proofs, staging sites/pages, or test emails prior to final client delivery
Effectively presents, sells, and defends all agency work/proposals to clients
Actively seeks additional projects/new business from client contacts and prospects
Partners with the Client Service team to ensure that projects are delivered to clients on time and on budget and of a high standard of excellence
Strategic Leadership
Acts as a strategic leader within the organization to generate ideas for making the agency stronger and more efficient
Leads major strategic initiatives for accounts
Works in a proactive manner to provide the client with thought leadership and strategic guidance, determining the best solutions to fulfill the needs of the client
Maintains a superior level of knowledge in all aspects of relationship marketing, including expertise in both direct mail and digital engagement vehicles.
Maintains a superior knowledge of data analytics and can clearly articulate the value it brings to our clients
Qualifications

Ability to work well in a flexible, dynamic work environment
Knowledge/Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Strong sales, production, data and marketing background
Experience in multiple direct marketing channels such as direct mail, email, digital and social media required
Agency experience required
Client based experience desired
Minimum of twelve (12) years related industry experience
