Overview
The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Residence Assistant (overnight shift) to assist in daily operations of the residential program by enforcing house rules.
Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include ensuring the canteen is clean and adequately stocked, submitting a list of inventory and needs to Administrator weekly, conducting locker inspections, recording statistical information and submitting to Administrator, reporting repair and maintenance needs immediately, issuing clothing vouchers for new beneficiaries, selling canteen tickets, and ensuring maintenance of vending machines. The Residence Assistant will be responsible for enforcement of house rules and policies and overall security of the center (including 'lights out', operating DRUG TESTING, sign-in/out, bed checks, monitoring adherence to dress codes, attendance at meetings), ensuring that beneficiaries are on time for meetings, work therapy assignments, counseling sessions, etc., reporting to work therapy supervisors any beneficiary out sick, assigning personnel relief responsibilities, and supervising access to medication.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in residential and rehabilitation, excellent communication skills, a clear understanding of professional boundaries, and a commitment to professional development. The Residence Assistant must be aware of an in agreement with The Salvation Army's Christian Spiritual approach to rehabilitation and desire to be a part of a team that provides a caring, respectful atmosphere to those seeking our help.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
