Sr. Business Development Manager - Amazon Tickets
Amazon Tickets is a start-up business with a vision of becoming Earthu2019s most customer-centric ticketing company, a place where event-goers can come to find and discover any ticket they might want to buy online. Amazon launched the Tickets business in the UK in 2015 and today offers customers the ability to purchase tickets to music, theater, and comedy events at great prices with a convenient purchase experience and world-class customer support. As we grow our team to support our rapid expansion we are looking for talented individuals to join us in delighting customers and having some fun along the way. The Tickets team is looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager for a role based in New York, to join the expanding team. The purpose of the role is to help the Tickets team grow its business relationships in the entertainment industry to expand tickets selection across existing and new categories and territories by working with ticket rights-holders to reach agreements on distribution for sale to end customers. Key job functions of the Business Development Manager are:

Work with executive leadership, product management, and finance to develop tickets business strategy, including targeted entertainment categories in each territoryn
Work with executives, and other teams to define and update the mission, goals, and success metrics for the Tickets group and ensure they are in line with the overall business strategyn
Identify key tickets rights-holders in each category and territoryn
Develop business partnership strategy, tactics, and business models working with product management and financen
Research and identify new opportunities for Tickets businessn
Work with the product and senior leadership teams to create a prioritized, tactical action plan to achieve business goalsn
Prospect, recruit and maintain relationships with ticket partners for selected categoriesn
Work with cross-functional teams (business, legal, finance) to develop successful partnership agreementsn
Independently manage complex contract negotiations, working with senior executives both inside and outside of Amazonn
Work with cross-functional operations teams to ensure successful integration with partnersn
Own weekly, monthly and quarterly channel performance reportingn
Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocksn
Support adhoc project and strategy worknnBasic Qualificationsn
