//aws.amazon.com/start-ups/loft/.Weu2019re looking for a driven, talented, and experienced events leader to manage onsite events, staff, and facilities for the AWS Loft in New York. This is a unique opportunity to own the customer experience at AWSu2019 most visible physical presence in the city. This is a fast-paced, hands-on, high-volume role for a motivated event manager who can work autonomously.Responsibilities include:

Create an amazing onsite customer experience.n
Own the day-to-day operations of the NY AWS Loft, including staffing, vendor management, budgets, and registration and check-in systems.n
Manage the events calendar, vet inbound requests, and schedule events.n
Plan logistics and execute events, coordinating with stakeholders that include AWS customers, partners, and internal teams.n
Develop a playbook for executing events at the NY AWS Loft that can be used by onsite staff and internal teams.n
Perform event and overall site metrics reporting to ensure goals are met, and deliver recommendations for improvement.n
Leverage outbound channels to promote the NY AWS Loft, including maintaining the website, building monthly promotional emails, and using social media to drive community engagement.nnBasic Qualificationsn

A Bacheloru2019s degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study.n
5-7
years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing role in events management or facilities operations.n
Experience measuring, interpreting and reporting results for events.n
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and proactively to solve problems.n
2
years of experience managing people.n
Exceptional time management skills.n
Excellent oral and written communication skills.nnPreferred Qualificationsn

7
years of experience managing a high-volume of events, averaging 200
attendees per event, and with multiple tracks.n
