Responsibilities
To meet the physical, emotional, social and spiriual needs of the residents though a variety of individual, group and bedside therapeutic recreational programs.
1. Interviews, evaluates and assesses each newly assigned resident. Designes a program specific to each resident's needs ans physical condition.
2. Implements with participaton of resident, a carefully planned and scheduled program.
3. Transports residents to and from programs and events. Provide 1:1 programs for residents who are unable to attend group activities. Plan and facilitate group trips for residents.
4. Initiates and maintains progress nots, MDS+, and care plans on each resident on assignd floors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Dergree in Music Therapy or LCAT (Lisenced Creative Arts Therapy) must have 2 years of exprience. Master's Degree prefered.
