The primary responsibility of the Casino Marketing Specialist is to generate telemarketing calls to qualified potential casino customers. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company, policies, practices, and procedures, as well as within the framework of the company's strategic plan.
Generates a minimum of 84 calls per day to qualified potential casino customers.
Converts a minimum of 5% of all customers called to a future reservation.
Emphasis is on marketing inactive/new players and underperforming special events.
Supports Casino Marketing to ensure these customers are appropriately accommodated (i.e. accurate room reservations, transportation, etc.)
Evaluates customers' casino activity to determine complimentaries (room, food/beverage, and other).
Documents transactions by completing forms and record logs.
Effectively resolves customer disputes and complaints.
Enforces the privacy of all guests and limits requests for information about such guests in accordance with hotel policies. Ensures confidentiality of all casino information.
Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Performs all other job related duties as requested.
Required:
At least 1 year of continuous guest service experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Preferred:
At least 1 year of experience in Casino Marketing.
At least 1 year of experience in telemarketing.
Bilingual.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
