What You'll Do:
ProgramDescription: The Department of Oncological Sciences at the Icahn School ofMedicine at Mount Sinai seeks a highly qualified health educator with a focuson Community Outreach and research programs examining health disparities incancer screening among minorities; specifically with African immigrantcommunities. Many of these projects include community-engagement and all seekto increase both awareness and screen behaviors among patients as well ascommunity members (see our website noted below for details).
As an integral part of our research and outreach projects, we are seeking ahighly qualified Health Educator. Knowledge of community participatoryresearch, community engagement, program development, health systems, publichealth issues, and health education planning and health education evaluation isrequired. Responsibilities may include the day-to-day management of multipleoutreach and research projects and their databases, as well as working closelywith community partners.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor'sDegree or higher in Health Education, Ethnic Studies, Psychology, relatedhealth and social service disciplines and/or equivalent work experience
Exceptionalinterpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Communityoutreach experience
Bilingualin French and/or Creole
Havethe ability to prioritize
Ableto work evenings and weekends
Proficiencyin SPSS or SAS experience, Grant writing, previous experience working withethnic and racial minority communities and/or inner city communities preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
