Title: Financial Analyst
Job Description:
Responsible for generation revenue forecasting reports on a monthly and quarterly basis for assigned clients, based on forecasts received from the account team leads
Tracking of actuals vs. forecast revenue, and providing variance analysis to CFO, Managing Directors, Group Account Directors and senior finance team members
Work with senior finance team members to ensure accurate revenue recognition at month-end
Perform monthly and quarterly fee reconciliations and assist with preparation for meetings with clients/ procurement
Review client contracts and ensure billings and other financial terms are being applied
Provide an executive summary report to Managing Directors, Group Account Directors and the financial team on the monthly financial status of their clients
Work directly with the billing department to ensure all fees and expenses are billed to clients in a timely and accurate manner
Manage inventory (hours and out-of-pocket costs) and work with billing department to invoice or otherwise clear Work-in-Progress balances on a monthly basis
Responsible for A/R reports; work with billing department and clients' AP departments to clear invoices and secure payments
Support account teams with ad-hoc projects and requests
Liaison with key members of the finance organization
Identification of financial process improvement initiatives
Review time and expenses for both client and internal/non-billable projects to ensure proper coding
Support CFO, SVP - Controller and VP Senior Director Client Financial Services on ad hoc reports and analysis for Omnicom, Agency management and internal financial initiatives
Participate and lead in regular finance and client team meetings.
Follow up with Project Management and Account Management teams on project profitability, develop and implement remedial solutions
Provide an accurate monthly breakdown of key expense categories and provide analyses and supporting insight into the key drivers of financial success for TBWAWorldHealth.
Prepare bi-monthly payroll data for payroll processing
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
2-4 years experience some agency experience is required
Must have a high degree of accuracy and be detail oriented
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and clients
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ensure reports are accurate, timely, and meet deadlines
Advanced proficiency with Excel required
Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Cognos preferred
Comfort working with data and information to create specific reports
Strong understanding of financial and business terminology and concepts
Professional attitude and service oriented demeanor; team player; ability to work with a variety of individuals across teams and levels
Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment; strong multi-tasking skills
Extensive creative problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
